Art Project- Mrs. Duitsman's Class

#5
Jennifer Cornie

The students of Mrs. Duitsman's class learned the ancient wax-resist dying of Batik! This process is thousands of years old. Each child created on paper and then used beeswax to duplicate their design on quilt blocks. Next, high-quality batik natural fiber paints were used. The blocks were assembled and beautifully quilted by Jen Cornie.
